KING KAPA made a regal return to the winner&rsquo;s circle with a dominant display at Doomben on Saturday.&nbsp;
The speedy son of Capitalist built on a last-start second with a three-length rout of his rivals in the Open Handicap (1200m).&nbsp;
The King&rsquo;s seventh career victory brought up a riding treble for Cejay Graham, who would also win the next race to complete her best day in the saddle.&nbsp;
The pair led all the way after a clean getaway, with KING KAPA racing well clear in the closing stages to justify his strong market support.&nbsp;
&ldquo;It looked on paper as though today was going to be his day, and it certainly worked out that way,&rdquo; said Graham.
&ldquo;He jumped well and made his own luck up front. He probably won the race in the first 200 metres, because we were able to control things and I was really happy with the way he relaxed. We were able to build from the 600-metre mark, and when he skipped down the hill I was pretty confident they weren&rsquo;t going to catch him.&nbsp;&nbsp;
&ldquo;He won with a lot of authority today, and it was great to see him do it like that because he&rsquo;s certainly deserved another win.&rdquo;

VEGAS RAIDER carried his earnings past the $300,000 mark after registering his fourth career victory at Canterbury on Friday night.&nbsp;
New jockey Jay Ford made an instant impact as the pair dead-heated after leading all the way in Friday night&rsquo;s Benchmark 72 Handicap (1100m).
Our partners faced an anxious wait after the second favourite Memoria dived at VEGAS RAIDER on the line, but they eventually shared the spoils after the judge was unable to split the pair.
VEGAS RAIDER&rsquo;s first victory since November 2023 moved his prizemoney bounty to $311,000, making the $38,000 we paid for him in partnership with trainer David Pfieffer look an absolute steal. &nbsp; &nbsp;

CHIPS IN ON VEGAS RAIDER

IMPERVIOUS showcased a brilliant turn of foot to make a triumphant start to her career at Ipswich on Wednesday.
Not everything went right for the daughter of Farnan on debut, but her class and quality shone through when it mattered as she powered clear in the closing stages.&nbsp;
Sent off the $1.55 favourite, IMPERVIOUS suffered a slightly chequered run but jockey Ange Jones was calm personified in the saddle.&nbsp;
After pulling her wide and clear of traffic, Jones stoked our girl up and she responded in style to chase down the leaders and score by a length for a soft win.&nbsp;
Having been placed in two previous trials, including behind the subsequent winner of the Magic Millions Debut, it was pleasing to see IMPERVIOUS impose herself on her first racetrack outing.
&ldquo;It was a really good win,&rdquo; said Jones.
&ldquo;She was a bit hot in the barriers but she did everything right once the gates had opened. She mustered pretty quickly and we had to take a sit after they slammed on the brakes up front. She didn&rsquo;t drop the bridle when we found ourselves behind a wall of horses, and she showed a terrific turn of foot once I let her go.&rdquo;

IMPERVIOUS DAZZLES ON DEBUT

BINDI&rsquo;S CHOICE continued our rich recent run of form when she relished the drop in distance at Hawkesbury on Tuesday. 
Our last four starters have now produced a pair of victories and a further two minor placings after the mare followed GOSPEL GIRL into the winner&rsquo;s circle.
Having broken cleanly from the wide gate, BINDI&rsquo;S CHOICE settled just behind the speed which is unchartered territory for her, with the daughter of Denman usually coming from well off the pace.
Jason Collett had her under complete control and when the pair made a decisive move in the straight, BINDI&rsquo;S CHOICE knuckled down to score her fourth win by a length. 
Victory took her earnings to $130,000 &ndash; almost 10 times her $35,000 purchase price &ndash; with trainer David Pfieffer keen to get her back to metropolitan grade after the morale-boosting win.
&ldquo;Coming back in trip was probably the key today,&rdquo; said Pfieffer. 
&ldquo;We were trying to get into the Four Pillars, but by stepping her up in trip we may have taken away her turn of foot. Outside lead probably wasn&rsquo;t part of the thinking, but the way the race panned out it was the right decision. 
&ldquo;She&rsquo;s always had good ability so I think she can measure up in town at some stage. She&rsquo;s raced competitively in better grade than this before, so hopefully she&rsquo;s now back on track.&rdquo;

GOSPEL GIRL enhanced her impressive race record when she flew home at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday to register her second win from five starts. Having only finished outside the first three on one occasion, the mare has been a model of consistency so far in her career and she promptly justified favouritism in the Benchmark 58 Handicap. GOSPEL GIRL pinged the lids but jockey Ange Jones was keen to take a sit behind the leaders in the early stages of the 1200m contest. Her patience was rewarded when a gap appeared in the home straight, and Jones got a great tune out of GOSPEL GIRL as the pair edged clear to score by half-a-length. &ldquo;It was great to see her win so comfortably today,&rdquo; said Jones. &ldquo;She had a nice draw and the race panned out really well. We were able to take the box-seat and they went a nice gallop, which allowed her to relax really well in behind them. I was pretty confident at the top of the straight, and she sprinted really sharply when the gap presented. She put them away confidently, and hopefully she&rsquo;ll go on with it now.&rdquo; Victory took her earnings close to $70,000 - a great return given we only paid $52,000 for her at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale. DUKE OF CAMDEN made his breakthrough at career start number two when he fought hard to score a narrow win at Goulburn on Thursday. Having opened his competitive racing account with a minor placing at Hawkesbury earlier in the month, the flashy chestnut ran up to his good looks with a second-up victory under Jean van Overmeire in the Maiden Plate (1000m). Despite a deteriorating track, DUKE OF CAMDEN finished very strongly to run down the leader in the shadows of the post. The son of Trapeze Artist was a touch wayward in the straight so is still learning his craft, but there is no denying he has the talent to enjoy a fruitful career in the hands of David Pfieffer once he has improved his racing manners. &ldquo;He began well and I could tell the other horse was going to put the speed on early,&rdquo; said van Overmeire. &ldquo;So I wanted to stay on his back because I didn&rsquo;t want us to get too far back in the run. He travelled well and quickened nicely, but he wandered around a bit so he&rsquo;s still got plenty to learn. GENETIC FREAK scored his second win from just five starts for new trainer Adam Campton and continued our recent winning run with a hard-fought victory at Ipswich on Thursday. With talented apprentice Bailey Wheeler in the saddle for the first time, the 5YO finished with a withering burst to defy the odds-on favourite by the narrowest of margins in a bob of the heads right on the line. Eight days on from a creditable performance at Doomben, GENETIC FREAK stepped out again in the Class 5 Plate (1350m) and promptly registered the fourth win of his career. After jumping smartly from the wide gate, the son of Shalaa settled midfield before making his move at the 200-metre mark. In the tightest of finishes, GENETIC FREAK got his nose down right on the line to carry his earnings past $125,000 and make it two wins and a second from just five starts since we purchased him through the Inglis Digital Online sale earlier this year. &ldquo;He went super,&rdquo; said Wheeler. &ldquo;He bounced out nicely and even though we were caught wide in a slowly run race, I just wanted to keep him in a nice rhythm. He was very tough and really game, and I liked his determination to win today. After registering eight minor placings from his 11 prior starts, INVADE AND CONQUER was sent off the hot favourite in Saturday&rsquo;s Maiden Handicap (1400m) and duly obliged under Keagan Latham. The son of Invader looked the winner a long way from home, and he promptly put his rivals away with a strong finish which suggests a mile might be within his scope. The gelding&rsquo;s consistency has seen him cash regular cheques for his connections, and he took his earnings past $75,000 with just the one win on his CV. &ldquo;Sunny Coast specialist&rdquo; Reliable Ruby scored a fifth win over the track and trip at Caloundra to enhance her impressive first-up record. Despite a near six-month lay-off, Ruby proved she had lost none of her shine with an accomplished display in Wednesday&rsquo;s Class 6 Handicap (1000m). The mare showed good gate speed and settled much closer to the pace than has been the case in the past, with Robbie Dolan keeping her in a lovely rhythm on the fence. After the pair had peeled off the rail in the home straight, RELIABLE RUBY showed her customary late dash to score her seventh career victory. The half-length victory was her third win from six first-up runs &ndash; a streak which also includes two minor placings &ndash; and took her career earnings close to $200,000. &ldquo;She&rsquo;s a Sunny Coast specialist,&rdquo; said co-trainer Corey Munce. &ldquo;We probably made the mistake last prep of only giving her one trial, and she peaked on her run first-up. So we learned from our mistakes and decided to give her two trials in the lead-up to this race, and it&rsquo;s paid off. The son of Turn Me Loose had compiled three wins from his eight starts at Kembla prior to Saturday&rsquo;s Benchmark 64 Handicap (1400m), and promptly improved that impressive record with another home success. The application of blinkers switched the big boy on, as he really knuckled down to his task in the closing stages under the urgings of Robbie Downey. The one-length win marked a spectacular turnaround in fortunes for EXTREME FREEDOM, who had finished last at his previous start but clearly does his best work on top of the ground. It also justified the faith shown in him by his trainers, with some of his owners enjoying a nice collect after Luke Price gave the $18 shot a very strong each-way push ahead of the race.
